in Jerusalem, focusing on religion and belief. The pictures were taken in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the Christian Quarter and in the ancient Jewish Cemetery of Mount Olives, overlooking the Palestinian neighbourhoods in East-Jerusalem, just beneath the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The images illustrate the tensions between the holy and the mundane, life and death, history and daily life. The comparative nature of the project stresses the similarities and commonalities of faith beyond specific religious affiliation.
