The pictures were taken in a national park on an island not far away from the coast of Faro, Portugal. The Island´s name “Ilha Deserta” (Deserted Island in Portuguese) represents the nature of the place: only a few buildings scattered within sand dunes. My photos follow the wooden path which cuts through the Island and documents the interesting interactions it creates with the coastal fauna and flora and the minimalistic and practical architecture. All in the unique colour and light conditions found in the middle of the sea.
